Cima di Terrarossa

Another day of incredible hiking during our summervacation.
The way from the parking lot up to the Rifugio G. di Brazza was not that difficult. I stopped at the rifugio for a Capucchino and continued up towards the Cima di Terrarossa. The sloopy way through the flowering meadows was quite challenging with all my photoequiment, but i was definitly worse it! My goal was not to climb the summit, I wanted to photograph capricorns – and luckily there were plenty of them around! More photos of the capricorns are to be found here .
Besides these skilled climbers I could also photograph som Griffon Vultures in the fare distans. Although they were fare up in the air, they were impressivly hugh. After about an hour around the Capricorns I started to descend back to the Refugio, but stopped every now and than for photographing alla summer flowers and the sceenic landscape of the Julian Alps.
