Two fabulous days out to photograph otters guided by James Rogersson on the island of Yell, Shetland.
Day one along Basta Voe we were able to follow a mother with 3 cubs for a couple of hours through sunshine and thunderstorm…. and unbelievable experience.
Day two we followed a mother Otter with 2 cubs for an afternoon. The cubs were play fighting which was really interesting to watch.
Another day out for photographing otters guided by John Moncrief. We hade some shorter encounters with one otter. Besides the otter we also så some seals, arctic skuas, a great skua and a curlew. We’ve had a great day out along Hamna Voe and West Lunna Voe. One the way back to med campground we stopped att Lunna Kirk and a few ruins along the way…
