Last weekend I was around some waterfalls in the area.

Close to the Ekedalens naturereserve there is a small waterfall in an old limestone quarry. The walls around the fall and the nearby pond were still covered with some ice. The nature reserve hosts many different species of deciduous trees. It´s well worth a visit throughout the year when all the leaves shifting colours.

A day trip to the ecopark Halle and Hunneberg was up next. I spend some hours at the Byklevsfallet and the Skäktefallet, even called “brudslöjan”- “bridal veil”. Byklevsfallet i located close to the street up to Hunneberget, while Skäktafallet rushes down from Halleberget near the village of Nordkroken.
