“Billingen througout the year”
Throughout 2023, I have been taken photos for a project called “Billingen througout the year”. I photographed around lake Hållsdammen on mount Billingen at least once every month. The goal has been to capture the variability of nature. I have walked the paths around the lake hundreds of times. Every time I am stunned by how different the surroundings are depending on the season, weather and light. It is this diversity that I want to capture and show with this project.
There are a couple of places around the lake where I decided to take photos regularly.
Due to weather and lightconditions, I did not stop in all places each time I walked around the lake.
I have been around the lake with the camera 17 times.
Time of the day have varied from 4:30 am to 11:20 p.m.
The weather offered everything: sunshine, clear blue skies, a thick cloud cover, windless days and storm.
I have struggled through 30 cm of newly fallen snow, been “assaulted” by mosquitoes and overwhelmed by the absolute silence of the November fog.
